We were founded in 1982 and began operations in Oak Ridge, Tennessee in 1985. Our facility was originally constructed to cast and roll depleted uranium for defense and energy applications. In 1999 we began to focus on development of toll rolling and manufacturing services for the specialty metals industry. Currently, MSC is heavily involved in supporting research and development work for both national and international entities.

We are a unique organization as we are the only commercial company in the world with the capability to cast, roll, and machine depleted uranium. We provide these services to government and private sector companies, supporting their production and development of new equipment and materials. MSC offers design, metal casting, specialty metal rolling, fabrication, welding, and precision machining capabilities.
